Default 03/04 cobra Vert questions....

just have a couple questions on 03/04 cobra verts. I know their chassis's are weaker since they're a convertible. Is it still safe to put down a good amount of power to the ground with out twisting it like a pretzel. It seems I can find convertibles soooo much cheaper than a coupe. Also how much more money in insurance am I looking at. I'm paying $230 for full coverage on my `99.

I'm selling my car and a 03/04 Cobra will be my last resort if I can't find the car i'm looking for. just weighing my options as far as Coupe Vs. Vert.

with some good subframe connectors youll be very solid, There are people making over 600 rwhp with the car an no structual supporting mods too. It feels a lot more solid then you would think. The cars weight 115 lbs more then the coupes

i had a vert before, and it was not a problem in the winter. i live in MN and it gets as cold as anywhere and i was suprised at how well it warmed up and stayed warm if thats what you mean.

With the amount of heat the motor makes - your winters will be fine... just turn on the vent with hot all the way up, and the motor heat will bake anything in the car for ya!!! lol

You said the Cobra is your last resort?? What kinda car are you actually looking for? You don't find many people in here call a Terminator their "last resort" , lol

hahahahha...no im not saying "Last Resort" asfar as power and looks. I'm in the market for either an EVO or Supra. I've owned 6 mustangs prior to this one. I wanted to try a new look. Yet I find myself coming back to a Termi time and time again.

I just have to sell my `99 Cobra which is almost impossible thanx to That nice fellow by the name of Kelley. His damn Blue Book likes to low ball me...[sm=violent053.gif]
