RE: found the car is this a good price?
Seems a little high. But it depends on the market.... How bad you want it, and how it's been treated. I paid 31K for a new 04 2 months ago. But I also saw an 03 w/ 12K on it sell for 24K at the auction??? So ya never know.

According to KBB, the retail on that car, with that mileage is $29,110. So, you're getting a good deal there, plus, maybe the owner did some mods to it as well.
You might be able to get them to come down a tad, but considering they're already under the value for the car, they might not.

I'm not sure where pony got her results from, but for a private seller on that car (I chose excellent condition) with those miles is rated at 26,705 (of course in my zipcode, but this may differ where your at and this was for a coupe). A dealer price would rate more money because they pay to condition the car and all (this is considered retail).
I would offer him 26k and see where he goes from there. Hope this helps.
