Kenne belle makes a full kit for the car but the lower intake is not the same I have some people telling me I need to switch the heads if I use a Twin screw or Roots style and I dont understand why? THis isnt going to be a 500 horse + car keepin it at about 400 or so....But so far I havent had any luck hopefully I can find one

Torched... I wouldn't even go there. The money you're going to spend is ridiculous... You can sell them for 400+shipping.. I would just take that money and start saving for a cheap centri blower on the Cobra.. you can pick up kits pretty cheap for those cars, and even cheaper if used if that's something you want to do....

and think of it this way.. (2) Twin Screw/Roots cars isn't fun... Have some disparity and go one Centri or turbo!!! But, honestly the Mach 1's which is relativly an easy swap costs 2-3k in parts, if not more.. they already have the Terminator heads..

Wasn't there just a thread about something like this and how much cost was involved (and a parts list as well)?????

THe price diffrence isnt that much I was looking at a pro charger kit vs a kenne bell kit (twin screw) for a 96-98 cobra and there is only about a 500 dollar diffrence and I prefer twin screw of centri (Centri boost range blows Id rather have boost off the line not at 4000) BUt all im lookin for is a lower intake kit I can make my own brackets for a relocation on the alternator.I would love to go turbo but MInd you Im installing this kit my self so I wouldnt have help and turbos have alot of components to install.http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...angcobra46.htm but if you guys know of a site that has turbos please post the link

supercharger kits are harder to build than turbo kits imo.

But just fyi... you don't have to mount the roots on your lower intake ;) People think they do because most stock cars have them there. The main reason most companies do it is because that's where the most space is since they can use it as part of the intake. Keep in mind roots superchargers are the most bulky s/c's out of all of them. An equally sized twin screw or centrifugal will take up less space than a roots.
