Sounds like you are blowing out your spark. Those are V6 numbers at that boost level, not 4 cam numbers.

I have a friend that had a 2.6 KB on his and at 20lbs he only made like 550rwhp, he got pissed and had the car brought to a different shop and retuned, other tuner made it 660rwhp. Some tuners just suck, other than that, it could be some fuel problems.

i'm not going to post the shop name. It is a family member that works there so going back is not really an option....he says dont listen to other people on the internet, take it to the track let it prove itself hp numbers dont matter. This is ridiucolus. I am absolutely livid and plan on taking it to another tuner ASAP

Well, a track will prove it isn't as fast as it could be.
Just to give an idea of how much more is left in that thing. With theM112 set up on my car, I made 16-18 hp per psi above the base line 247rwhp it made N/A. With a 4 cam and a much better blower,it should be seeing better than that.

Any update on this?I guess i was wrong for attacking the shop but geez. I would think if they dynod a car with almost 20k into it at 530rwhp they would know something wasn't right and try to fix it b4 they let you take it home. I would guess that this car would be an easy 600rwhp car tuned right with everything workring good.

It just sounded like the family member was sticking up for the shop... Dynos are only a tool, but there was definatly something wrong there..

Most reputable dyno shops have their Dyno machine calibrated on a regular basis. If it has been moved or been tampered with or just hasn't been done in a while, then it could def be off. If the dyno is reading properly, then the tuner is doing something wrong here. My guess is if the numbers are at the right rpm and peak hp, your nopt blowing out your spark. If your a/f doesn't go off the charts, your fuel is sufficient. All of those variables are in plain open sight for the tuner and are easily fixed. The only thing that wouldn't be visible is the fact that he maybe hasn't given you enough timing. If I remember, you don't have knock sensors which would have no effect on the computer pulling out timing especially if the stock ecu has been over ridden with a custom tune. A few degrees in timing can make some big gains in hp especially with that amount of boost. The biggest thing with tuning a supercharger in knowing when to add and pull timing out depending on where the boost kicks in. I'm willing to bet he was playing things safe because he is not familiar with your set-up. Most tuners will take away a good chunk of timing just before the twinscrews kick in and keep it in that general vicinity for the most part. Find out what timing your running and ask the guys that have that similar set-up what it should be. The timing chart can vary from car to car but should be pretty close. Make sure your not running pis rich on thje top end which will defeat power gains as well. runnig 10:1 is ridiculous. Your a/f should be atleast 11.0 and no more than 12.0 in any application. I only have 11psi and am running 11.9 16degrees timing and could take more.(I gained 21rwhp with 18degrees of timing but wanted a "safer" tune)

Also, MFJ, you have had experience with this much boost unless I'm not mistaken, you really think he shouldn't run 7ef's or lightning plugs? 2 steps colder? 21psi is quite a bit for a set of tr-6's. I have tr-6;s gapped at .030'

at 21 psi, tr6's should have NO problem...

Unfortunate ngk tr6's are the most consistent plugs... already on three different occassions, a brand new tr6 was dead, out of the box...
