an answer to my own thread... now that i got my car, my dad drove it home from texas. first gas stop he calculated 22 mpg pretty much all highway driving. second time he didnt do the math, but felt he did a little better. and for insurance, im workin out the paperwork with state farm, and ill pay 575 for 6 months, and i have yet to tell them its got a lojack! im happy with that!

So far I checked and I'm getting 17 in the city. That's taking it easy of course...

congrats on the car, when i went to mustang week last year i got 27 mpg highway doing 75ish highway when i had just intake exhaust

man i feel like im getting shafted in my insurance lol. i pay about $100 per month for liability only! probably doesnt help that i am 17. but thats just on a 2000 mustang gt. My insurance company(westfield insurance) said if i want full coverage its about $200ish a month

Yea your getting it up your tail pipe! I pay $36 a month for full for the 03 cobra and like $28 full for my 04 lightning

got a 97 snake. when it was running I got between 20-23 mpg. The problem is "leadfootitis" which is verycommon, and will drop any good mpg. FC ins runs about 90/mo and i'm 32 with a clean record. [8D]

this thread turned into an insurance thread hey? you guys got it easy down there. im from alberta, when i was 16 drivin a 88 S10, with minimal coverage, it was 2700/year, now im 22, and with my 2008 Chev Silverado on Full coverage with 2mil liability, S10 with same coverage as always, im payin 2600/year, and i thought that was good. you guys are lucky
