questions about the 03-04 cobra
 

ok so in the next couple months in going to be buying a termi and do the basic mods to it at first but im planning on cooling mods first so far im thinking a new heat exchanger and the cooling tank (resivor) i forget its accual name now i have read of a head cooling mod my question is what is it and where can i get it and is there any other cooling mods i should consider thanks for the help

I would do: Dual pass heat exchanger, tstat, radiator and head cooling mod... the resovoir isn't as important.. but i would do all of that....

Your head might already have the head mod done to it. And all your cooling mods are good ones the expansion tank isn't really that big of an issue unless you like packing ice for that few hp at the track. Look into the irs mods to prevent wheel hop instead of the expansion tank. Just the bushings and the brace works great....02 cents

fyi.. the ice in theexpansion tank doesn't "add" hp at the track.. it helps you with heatsoak so you don't lose hp at the track...

The expansion tank is pretty much worthless unless you go to the track alot. The two most common ones to do are the head cooling mod and the dual pass heat exchanger.

You can also check out RPMoutlet.com for cooling mods. They have an AFCO heat exchager for $300 and a surge tank for $200.
