The Terminator doesn't have non-forged pistons... Their weakness is the heads... They flow ok, but they're pop from excessive heat...

There are a lot of 700rwhp daily driven terminators.. have even seen some in the 800.... and a couple in the high 900/low 1000rwhp.... however those don't last that long (the 900+rwhp), lol....

*****

ok if you're not stranger to the cars then ok.. just checking... one just never knows.. a lot people get money do stupid stuff, then hurt and/or kill someone or themselves, that's all..

But i would still build the motor all the way up before doing it... and if you can do both at the same time.. I think turbo cars are a bit more fun with the bit of juice...

Non-forged pistons are the weak point on those cars is my understanding.
Seen quite a few melted pistons out of those engines.
heads are the weak point...im not sure i understand...how much are the rods/pistons good for?

I don't know why people say that. "Stock internals are weak". When people build 2vs and 3vs they use the internals that are in the 03/04 cobras. What makes the cobra weak in the heat from the heads that give you knock and bad tuning. I have buddys that are running 700-800 pony cobra back in the states that have over 60k on the stock motor with no problems.

If you want your cobra to last you have to get ALL the supporting mods, and get a good tuner.

I know a few 700-800rwhp CObras.. on stock internals... most of them over 750rwhp do it on race gas at the track... you can easily have 2 tunes on a flip chip or tuner and run a daily driver tune for your commute, then the track tune on race gas that pumps out 800rwhp... and with a good tune and supporting mods it should be fine... not to say that it will never break.. it can, but it may not... I've seen someone with over 1000rwhp drove it for a month before he blew it up... and i know people that drive daily on 700rwhp that are up there in miles without issues, and i know people with 450 that blew their motors apart..... With these cars it's all about the tune and cooling!

but remember one thing..... you gotta pay to play...

A huge turbo will have more potential for power. Either way for the power you want you wont be able to hook at all on the street.

Twins make more power than a single on our cars. I get plenty of traction on the street.
