My first car is a '96 Cobra, i want 2 do some go faster mods to it, need some opinion on rear end sizes, im looking at 3.73 and 4.10, i like the 4.10 but im not sure it will go with my car. Not really any racing going on, just some fun stoplight to stoplight.what would anyone recomend????

do you daily drive the car? or at least drive it A LOT?

id put 4.10's in mine if i wasnt driving it 50+mi a day. but if im already filling up every 4 days, id probably just do 3.73's when the time comes.

if i was still working where i used to, which was within 2 miles of my home, id put 4.10's in it, since i know i wouldnt needing to pace my gas mileage as much.

I myself have a 98 with 4.30's in the rear, the gas mileage is not as bad as people believe. If i were you and choosing between 3.73's and 4.10's I'd go with the 4.10's. The gas mileage like i said won't change much or at least it didn't in my car. Granted when I get on it the car eats gas but hey its a stang. What stang won't? Anyway thats just my .02.

thanx ya mostly just drive around to school and close places, no more than 5 miles per day maybe, so...ya i think i want the extra pull, i just wanna make sure the car isnt annoying to drive with the 4.10's in it.

My car with 4.30s is a blast to drive. And as yourself I only drive about 5 miles a day unless I decide to just drive. And mfj love the sig my friend. Very nice.

but for DD 3.73s or 3.90s... 4.10s are a bit much imo i got them just b/c i found a hell of a

deal.


*edit* also, be ready to shell out about 500-700$

180ish for the gears and 3-500 for installation depends where you live
