Brakes

Ok so changing my rotors and pads are a little more difficult than i anticipated. Im so use to doing drum brakes and havent done a set of disc brakes since shop class freshman year of highschool. now to get the calipers off the rotors you have to compress the pistons on the calipers but im not sure so if any could give me some pointers to get started itd be appreciated

RE: Brakes

You can give a twisting motion side to side with some force and piston(s) will compress back into caliper and allow removal and reinstall with new thicker pads.

This is an easy repair :)

RE: Brakes

front pads, just leave the old pad on to be a buffer while u compress it with a clamp. The rears are different and need a tool (or pliers, or w/e) andneed to be screwed back into the caliper.
