Edit: Mfjs is now far from stock lol but he went through 2 stock blocks and alot of money so yeah lol.

i have a Q for the gear heads out there, i too am a gear head but a confused one, i have a 99 svt cobra with a kenne bell s/c running 12lbs of boost, i have the independent rear suspension(IRS) i have a 4:10 gear ratio in there now and i hate it, literaly, i cant get the car over 120 without damaging it, i dont know what i should replace it with without compromising a whole world of power, i was thinking (3:55 or 3:27) or somthing, any suggestions? also i think this gear is messing up my ride, it vibrates, any one else with this problem?

stock gears is 3:27...
In your case, i would go with 3.55 gears.... You are not in need of SOO much gear, considering the low end rpm torque you got from your kenne bell.
3.55s in your t45 is about equivalent to 3.73s in an 04 cobra.

sick. i want to put a kb on my car. any pictures?? oh and to mfj, i blew my stock engine in my 01 as well...

i was tinking 3:55 to because i have to drive this car ever day,and the mpg sticks having a 4:10, iam going with 3:55 and i should still rip guts on new c6 vets, zo6 vets are no prob now, but i now what i have no need to prov it, thanks for the feed back, happy venom

hey MFJ whats/c would you stick on the aluminator/and what rear end gears?
still got my stock 3.27s in there now, i got some 4.10s i for dirt cheap idk if i should install them or not ,which reminds me i spent an hour arguing with my neighbor about weather or not my car had 3.73s in it.. which he says are stock..loli'm suprized how many people with GTs know NOTHINGabout cobras...but anyway yeah gogo advice me. honestly, i semi understand the torque/ s/c thing but idk what set-up of s/c /gears to use.
