it's time for mods!!

alright guys i got a 99 cobra with 82k miles on the clock. no problems whatsoever.
bone stock motor, rims, exhaust, everything but a short throw.

where to start? i;m thinking of exhaust and suspension.

what;s the best sounding combos (in your opinion of course) for this motor?

Depends on your budget. You could always just throw some springs on, a mid pipe, and weld-in mufflers. I would suggest putting gears somewhere near the top of your list. Or you could go all out on a full exhaust, suspension, and internals if you have the cash.

i'd do exhaust first toget her soundin good, then gears.

Definately exhaust, then gears, cold air, pulleys. If you want to dig into the motor some cams are always a great idea. Suspension is a good one too to give you a greta ride and better traction. Its all on what you want first. If it was me I would add some go to it, then handling, and last the show.

i think i'm gonna get borla catback and possibly a catted midpipe right off the bat.

there's a great shop near me that works on cobras exclusively.

would my mileage be a problem do you think? i know it's kind of up there...

alsooo what gears for daily driving?

a friend of mine put borla catback and midpipe with high flow cats, and we were both pretty dissapointed with how it sounded.

i put a 40 series flowmaster catback on mine, and that alone was much more aggressive than his catback and midpipe. but im also puttin on my o/r H today[8D]

My steeda/Borla cat back really quieted down my car BUT it gave it a really nice tone with the x pipe. I had flowmaster 60 s before with the x pipe and it was way too raspy and loud it used to hurt my ears and tell the neighbors I was home at 3 am lol.(But I loved the looks id get and the people who backed down from attempted races lol)
