Default '96-'98 Cobra owners-intake/TB question

I have an SVO intake on my '99 GT and a fellow told me that the dual blade TB's were not the best and I should consider a single oval blade TB such as an Accufab. Something to do with turbulance. Anyone agree/familiar with this and has done the change and get positive results NA? THX! Mark

THX. Now I would like to check into the Lincoln Teksid TB and whether it provides any low end torque or mileage improvement. THX again.

The what?
Teksid has nothing to do with the TB.
Teksid are the early 4v blocks out of Italy.

+1 on the teksid block lol and I have somthing to add as well, You want no parts from a lincoln on your cobra the cobra is the IMPROVED VERSION. You shouldnt need a new throttle body unless you have some nice mods to go with it.

i believe a single blade is better than a twin blade. But this difference is not known on mildly modded cars, but on highly modded ones i think they use single blade.

on you tube theres a guy who says its a 96 cobra but it really is a GT with a lincon swap, the 4v only put down like 240 whp and my car nearly stock put down 278.

single blade...

1.) improves horsepower
2.) improves throttle response

Yes on a modified car. No one should ever change a TB on a stock engine. The gains are not worth the expense. Just my .02 I'm not going to debate it
