Lol I don't have cobra tail lights but thats not the point I am making... I am saying there is nothing wrong with tinting them if you want the dark look...the only reason I think you wouldn't tint them is just to show off but some people don't really care...
And as far as the SC pulley, I think the smaller it is the most boost is created, cause if you have a smaller pulley, the belt will spin it thus causing more revolutions or minute or second or hour or whatever lol
But to the OP: if you like the smoked look then you can just buy them off craigslist and stuff. I've seen sprayed and clearcoated/wetsanded tinted regular GT taillights go for relatively cheap. You could buy that and swap it out, and just keep the cobra ones for later if you want to swap it back.

Ya so I didn't know the taillight was different on the cobras till last night when I was reading about it. I've read so much about these cars my head is hurting. And I honestly am so awed by this car I don't know what to say. Don't know if I'll tint the taillights or not, I just liked the blacked out look. But stock looks insane too. Oh my word, I just got to work and I'm IN FRICKIN LOVE. Why didn't I do this sooner??? Why I ask you? I'm gonna make a thread in OT tonight.

I'm probably the only guy who doesn't recommend 5%!!!!! 5%!!!!! like everyone else
I think 35% front/quarter and 20% back would look great on your car, otherwise if you are worried about cops like I am then I got 50% and 35%

And 20% all around tint will be first mod, (not windshield) then radio...mach 460 sux compared to my Camaro
