it takes a special ford tool that retracts the piston in as you turn it. A regular C clamp wont work. Nappa should have what you need. ................Had to deal with the same thing after installing my 4.10's
If a c clamp worked then someone over turned your rotors past the min thickness or something is up with the parking brake.
Using the c clamp is the first step it will compress the piston til it butts up against the parking brake threads. Then you need to use the special tool that turns the piston in.
