WoW seems like a nice deal with all the money put into it. I say if you like it, go for it. Any pics?

Buy it..a car that's 10 years old with all of that and only has 70k isn't bad at all. See if you can get 15.5k though..if not, buy it anyway.

ehh I don't like it..

The reason why I don't like it is because you are taking on someone else's project... I always advise against taking on something like that... because while taking on their project.. you're also taking on their problems...

Something to think about...

Alright so first off I wanted to thank you all for your responses.

Second, I have been in continuous contact with the seller and he has offered the car to me for $16,800. I can really only afford 15-16k so would you guys bother to go see the car? I really like it from the description and talking with the guy (no I will not let this cloud my judgement of the car) but at the same time my father (a used car manager) is telling me to look at what the car is really worth (about 12-13k). But it would cost me waaaaayyyy more than the difference to make a 99 cobra anywhere near this car. So I guess I am stuck not wanting to say here is my offer b/c if he turns it down I'll be pissed...or I'll pay you close to what you want and have to take out a loan.

Thoughts from anyone that has been in this position?
