general question on 03-04 svt
really thinkin of pullin the trigger on trading current lineup in, and im thinkin of either waiting till the spring to get that 2010 or im really eyeballin a 03 black cobra with 15k miles. i have never been in a sn95, so i do not know how they feel and drive. do they rattle real back like my SGT? can they corner well? nasty wheel hop? im just lookin at all options before i go ahead. thank you to anyone that can give me insight

I think I have talked to you about this before lol. I say do it. I traded my 07 gt in on a my terminator and it the the best thing I ever did. I love this car to death. To me everything about it is better then my s197. They corner well, could have nasty wheel hop but you just need to replace the bushings n a couple of other minor things. I havent experienced any bad wheel hop with my car yet.

well.. what is making you want to trade it in? the speed? the name? Do you owe anything on your current GT?
It's funny.. most Cobra owners you talk to all love the car, but the ones that still have it still love it.. and the ones that don't have it anymore are glad they don't have to deal with some of the crap anymore, lol... But the car is a great car.
The only way I do a deal like this is if you can get at least a straight trade for your 2007, or if you are in equity in the vehicle... the worst thing you can do is trade a car that you're upsidown in.. especially if youre only concerned with the speed and you don't plan on going over 500 rwhp or so..

im not really all that concerned about speed, i can make my shelby gt fast, its not a whole lot slower than a termi, but im looking for quality more than anything. the pics ive seen of the termi just look better, better seats, better dash, hopefully less rattles and squeaks. i like my car, just wish it would knock its stuff off

trust me in saying that if you have the Shelby GT-H the car isn't close to being as fast as the Terminator is, or could be without A LOT of work.
but if you're looking for "quality" I will say that you're better off keeping the newer one. The Terminator is all around a better car imo, and in most - but the new Mustangs are just made a lot better.

I am not saying I wouldn't... but if all things were equal and the build quality, and quality of the car were the only thing that would sway me... I wouldn't pick any pre-S197 model over the S197 model...
Anyone that says the New Edge, SN95, or Fox body is a better built car then the S197 is a liar, or just refuses to realize that our cars have shortcomings...
