Default Street Suspension Set-up

I am looking to do a street suspension set up on my 98 cobra. My current suspension mods are steeda springs, 1.5" wheel spacers, and stb. I am looking for a tight ride. (my dad has a corvette and I really want my car tighter). I do not track the car this is strictly for the street.

I'd get caster/camber plates first with a 1.5 in drop, you didn't mention them. Stabilizer bar kit. With the car being 10 yrs old a bushing kit would be nice to tighten things back up. Easy fix just time consuming and maybe some adjustable shock and strut kit.

I do have caster and camber plates. They were on when I bought the car I beleive they are upr. I have polyurathane bushings for the springs. But that is a great suggestion. What about subframe connectors? Any advice on a good shock/strut set-up with the springs?

If you have the money bilstein shocks/struts will tighten you up a great deal. but if you dont want to blow that much, you can get a set of Tokico's for alittle under 500bucks. Subframe connectors will help make the car a bit more rigid, check into Maximum motorsports line of products.

Full Length Subframe Connectors should be welded on the car on a drive on lift only. Reason I say this, is because the whole car would be even. If you ever noticed when you jack up the car, the doors are misaligned. Just imagne that but permanent.

shocks and struts, bilsteins are recommended. Instead of springs, you can go with coil-overs.

I would also look up Macphersons shock/strut packages. Don't know costs but hear they are one of the best for our cars. I'm probably going to go with the Tokico myself. As for sub-frame connectors unless you're launching don't see the point.
