what head unit should i go with, and i was told i was safe up to 15lbs if i wanted to stay safe but what do you guys recommend

well it depends on what type of blower you want... I personally like Procharger for Centri and KB, or Whipple for Twin Screw... but you can't afford that with your budget.

To stay within your budget, you're probably not going to have much of a choice; will end up being a Novi, or a Vortech... neither of which are bad blowers by any means.

Yeah, a Novi 2000 head unti can be had for real cheap these days, used of course. And that will be more than enough, if all your looking for is 15 psi...
