i spray painted mine black...screw paying for a new one lol...and mines not even broken!

i used krylon plastic paint, so its 0% tint lol oh well...cops have never harassed me about not having a third brake light..i was just too cheap to buy that led one i listed or to buy a tint strip

come to think of it, ive spray painted quite a few things... third brake light, side markers, grille pony, side badges

heres how it came out.... just paint yours and leave it on?

Yea thanks for trying to help but im looking for a third tail light for an 03/04 Cobra not just a regular mustang one. Ya know the one that goes on that bad *** looking spoiler.

I have a broken on in my closet. I ll check if your interested and let you know which tip broke off considering thats where they tend to crack.

I found it. I think its the left side taps that are broken. I cut the conector off as well. It does light up perfectly fine but I bought a new 3rd light cause I nuts about having broken things. Heres two pics. The lens is dirty but will clean up. If your local, you can just pick the thing up for nothing. If you want it shipped $20 ups w/tracking number.
