like stated before, i say stay away from the mods. I was lucky enough to find mine with only mufflers on it! Then again i paid a ****ing fortune compared to what your being offered. 28,0000 for 11,000 miles.

because either way i'm going to drive it and so is she. i will def. see what kind of condition it is in and run him somethin along the lines of its modded and with 60k miles it should be going for less. btw i love the **** outta my mach, pretty sure i will love a termi even more we'll see.

run compression check on it or even a cylinder leak down, i bought my cobra modded and have had it for almost a year and no problems yet. i did take the precautions and had a leak down test, all fluids checked for metal, suspension checked etc. i drove it 850 miles from iowa to colorado and ran perfect.

It does have 62,000 miles.
The market is the lowest it's over been on 03/04s. I say it's a decent deal if it's in good shape.
Have the owner do a leak down and compression test.
EDIT: Just saw the person above me mentioned the same thing.

I dont like heavily modified cars.. and for 550rwhp.. they had to do a bit to it...
Make sure you do your due diligence.. look it over and if you and she feels good about it.. then do it... but, you could very well be getting someones project.
FWIW.. My Cobra started actin funny around 50k miles.. but then again I didn't drive it like a saint neither, and I don't think the person before me did as well...
I drive my Mach 1, a lot more civil.. lol

Also,
Check the IRS for ANY leaks, check the belts, all of the fluids, listen to the motor run(Head Ticking Problem)
Make sure you drive the hell out of it. See how it shifts, listen for any clunks, feel how it shifts, if the clutch is slipping, etc.
One thing I am sure that is bad if the previous owner did not replace them, are the bushings. From Ford they are crap compared to aftermarket, so check those out as well.
