Default dyno #'s

went to the dyno today with my buddies '04 mystic conv cobra and we are pretty happy!

mods are k&n air filter kit, bassani off road X and bassani cat back, pro 5.0 shifter, 2.8 pulley, ngktr6's, and an X3 SCT tuner

made 485.6 HP and 510 Torque at 14lb's of boost

not bad numbers i thought!!

need a boost a pump as the fuel pump was pegged above 6200

nice! what place did u go to since i see ur from MD? seems a little high for a 2.8 pulley but all dyno's differ...unless he has a ported blower..my mods are JLT intake..2.8pully..bassani o.r x and magnaflow mufflers and only made 446rwhp and 476rwtq but then again im out in az for the time being and i know MD is cold now and cold air really peps up a car!!

i had a 2.8 pulley, k&n filter, mono blade tb, magna flow cat back and i got 429whp the last time i put it on the rollers. i got a jlt intake and o/r xpipe so im might have to put it on the rollers again.

those numbers sound a bit high but every car is a little different. some of us guys in the local club made 440whp while another car with the same mods made 475 so anyhitng is possible.

yea i had my car dynoed there and it read 30rwhp more than at another shop so i think their dyno reads a little high...cause it said my 02 KB GT at 10psi with boltons but all stock internals and stock heads and cams made 470rwhp and 490ish rwtq...they can def build cars according to every MM&FF magazine i pick up so thats why they go off their track numbers and not their dyno #'s...but im sure the car runs strong as hell!!
