Default H&R Sport Springs on factory shocks/struts

I just bought a set of H&R Sport Springs for my 03 Cobra. How low can the factory shocks and struts go without botteming out? Has anyone lowered their Cobra around 1.5in with problems on their factory struts? Id like to know before I install these.

...That's ok! ...I can use the extra parts!

...You should be fine with your stock struts/shocks!

I also got the H&R sports. DO NOT install these springs unless you have caster camber plates. Go with the maximum motorsport ones. Also these springs lower your car 1.6" all around.

Any time you go lower them 1" you should do the cc plates.

Do these bang when going over bumps? On my last Mustang I had coilovers and c/c plates and It felt like the front end was about to drop out. Im pretty sure it was the coilovers making the noise.

You will be fine. Just do the CC plates and leave all your ISO's in and you will be more then ok. The factory shocks/struts are fine also.
