Im pretty sure that the answer is no but im going to double check before i drop another $500 on a clutch. I put a centerforce DF clutch in my old 97 gt and now i have a 2001 cobra with a T56 with a bad clutch. The clutch from the 97 gt wont fit on a T56 will it?

i dont think so, the tranny is diff so i am sure it wont work, but a tip for you is...i just got my 97 cobra..and it has a brand new spec stage 2 clutch with the adjustable clutch cable and it is an amazing cluth, nice positive feel, no chatter or anything...and it is excellent for power shifting it just pops right back up and grabs...its mint..so id look into one of those..casue i dont think your old clutch will work

So the spec grips nice and hard? Ive always heard good things about centerforce and my last centerforce was really nice. Ill def look into spec now tho.
