99 Cobra HP/TQ
#2
Engine- 450whp seems to be pushing it, better to keep it safe @ 420whp or so. After this you need to replace rods and pistons, Crank is fine untill much higher levels, you won't ever need a new one.
Transmission- I think the number is somehwhere near 450ft-lb TQ its 4 to 450, which isn't bad because its right there with the motor.
Rear end- 99 cobras have IRS(Indepedent Rear Suspension) which are known to wheel hop and break without an IRS brace, but will be fine with an IRS brace for a while, untill you're cutting like 1.7 or less 60's i think with the brace you should be good cutting 1.8+ 60's.
They claimed 31 spline in 99/01s but they never actually got them untill 03/04.

J/K...
Stock they can handle about 550 HP. the weak link is the powdered rods they use. 550 is the high side of the spectrum. Reliably though, I wouldn't go more than 500. The trans you don't have to worry about breaking (if you have a T56), but the T45's can handle about 450 ft. lbs without breaking a sweat.
The IRS on the other hand...throw your wallet at that if you want it to survive. A brace and solid bushings (pumpkin mounts) are mandatory even at stock levels. I've broken 3 pumpkins due to power...but never a half-shaft...go figure.
