I'm running a Pro 5.0 (because my Cobra came with it) & added a Tri-ax handle...seems to be pretty good IMO!

I got a B&M pro ripper shifter in mine. Pretty nice, but its a 3-piece design and the handle would always come loose from the base.

The first time I disassembled it, I added loc-tite to the allen bolts and haven't had a problem since. It's a nice product. Came stock in the 2000 Cobra R.

anyone ever used the upr short throw shifter? its whats installed now, and its a bit sloppy, im going to install the steeda tri ax

i have mgw, if you post this question on svtperformance you will get about 50 people telling you to get mgw, most people on their switched from triax's and pro 5.0's to mgws

im running a pro 5.0 in my gt and a b & m shifter in my cobra and i like my pro 5.0 much better. a friend of mine got a steeda one but i didnt like it and he does. he is taller than me, 6ft, and im 5'9'' with arms as long as his so i have no probs with the pro 5.0 shifter but he didnt like it b/c he had to reach more to get it in to 5th vs the steed one b/c he had the seat further back.
