I have a Steeda Tri-Ax in my GT and Cobra...just a coincidence, I bought both cars with them already installed.

The springloaded base is excellent for finding gears.
It is kind of loud, but I kinda like hearing it click into gear...it sure beats the sound you get when you miss a gear (ie numb import shifters...I'd rather walk than borrow another Acura).

my shifts are getting a bit notchy, but do not grind...would this be from the shifter? i have a upr short throw shifter installed...could it also be the throttle position sensor? any help would be great....sometimes it will go into gear fine, other times it wont
