If it must be known, as a married Marine, living in Hawaii, I make approximately 54,000 dollars per year. I'm taking both cars back home to New York, though, as I'm moving back at the end of June.

Well it didnt NEED to be known, but thanks for not being an ***, most people claim 200k a year or some bs like that cause it cant be proved.....

I know, it's not great. But since I'm 19, I'm satisfied. If only rent wasn't so ridiculously expensive in Hawaii.
What I need to do is cross the street and get hit by a police car, then I can sue the town and pay for this car

For the record, 12k wasn't my budget, it was just the price for the few pieces I mentioned in that post. I expected other things to even it up to about 20k...but, hell, if I hit 20 and I'm not done, I'm certainly not going to leave the car unfinished. Consider the budget undefined.
And I'm going to maintain that it's going to cost about half as much for these parts, because I'm not paying anyone to install anything.
