so I pulled the pcv valve out and before i could pull it from the hose that leads to the intake manifold it fell out behind the engine, no where to be found!! I have to work in the morning and is my only vehicle. WHat will I need to do to drive it to the parts store before work and not hurt anything? The store is 9 miles from where I live....need help fast. Thanks!

You'll have a vacuum leak and the car won't run. You could try temporarily plugging the line from the intake manifold to eliminate the vacuum leak. I wouldn't put anything in/on the hole in the valve cover since it may fall in and cause damage. If you absolutely need to drive it you might get some oil out of the cover.

i did that, plugged intake mani hole and then started car, pulled out of driveway and it fell out on the ground...lol so I put it in and was good to go...w0ot
