Default Which brakes wear faster, front or rear?

I have an 01 Mustang Cobra, I don't really hit it all that hard. Pretty normal driving and braking. What brakes would wear faster, front or rear?

80% of a vehicles stopping power comes from the front brakes. Manufacturers compensate by having smaller rotors and single piston calipers in the rear to try to make braking loads even. Fronts wear faster but manufacturers try to engineer them to wear equally.

Always gonna be the fronts, but will be more noticeable up front depending on your driving style (more aggressive, if you do any AutoX or road racing, etc.).

Rears...if you do a lot of burnouts with no line lock. Found that one out the hard way...twice. Turns out one really....really long burn out can make your rear pads almost dissolve completely. Pretty cool if you think about it.

^^ahahah yeap the rears can do that...but on a daily driving racing thing the fronts...those take the most load over the rears....

Front because when you stop the front end tends to dip down especially when you stop fast. Also most of the weight is on the front too.
