Default 3:73 or 4:10 gears

Well I want to go with different gears and the local race shop said it would cost about $800 and that includes replacing all the bearings. I'm not sure if that includes a speedo recal.
My biggest question is what gear do I go with? 3:73 or 4:10
I will be using my 01 Cobra that is stock as a daily driver with alot of HWY use. But I would like it to have enough power off the line just in case I feel the urge of if someone wants to race a little. I don't want to be embarrased by getting my butt whooped by a ford focus. I don't plan on any further mods in the future other than gears. What kind of RPMS are the gears putting out at say 70MPH. My stock gears are turning about 1800-2000 rpms at 70mph. I want to pick the right gear the first time so i need your help.
Thanks!

I say 4.10's. Why no other future mods?

Yeah, 4.10's seem to be about the sweet spot for NA setups from what I've read.

4.10s or bust. Though with a 5spd, you may want to consider the 3.73s. The 5spd guys could chime in more on this.

its goin to be around 2600ish rpm at 70mph, 410's are sweet tho im putting them in my car soon, and the 5th gear is a high jump from 4th so 410 vs 373 i say go 410

Thanks for the replies. I'm leaning toward the 4:10's.
About the other mods, I want to try and keep it stock as much as possible or should I say the wife doesn't want me to spend all of our money on mods. I thinking about doing a catback exhaust system to let her breath a little better. Are there other cheap mods that will give me a little more HP? I would love a supercharger but the cost is too much right now. I've got really bad stone chips on the front bumper and the hood, so I'm having those repainted on Monday.
Thanks again for the replies.

Not sure how many people go this route, but if your kinda stuck in-between on what to do, you could always check these out. Motive Performance Plus 3.90's on American Muscle:
