Depends on what you can afford. If I had 20-25k, I would get a 03/04 Termi. The 10-20k price range will land you a 99/01 with decent miles. I would look at the 99 over the 01 due to Ford switching to a weaker aluminum block on this year model. The 99 and newer also have the "IRS" which is nice if you hate live axle whiplash. If you love cobras, but have limited funds then shoot for a 96-98 model. I would stay away from the 94-95 unless you have some funds to squeeze some more hp out of those old 5.0 motors. I have seen low mile early sn-95 models going for 6-8k! Regardless, you will own a limited edition Mustang with a hand built motor and performance upgrades not include on the regular models. If I had the time/money, I would own several. I have a 99, and I definately want a 03/04 but I won't sell my 99 to get it....delimma...I better start stuffing that pig full of coins.

^^^tru statement, but i wouldnt so much put my style on th elimited funds basis, i am not defending one just because i own one, but i would rather go out and buy if i could start all over again in the 5-10k range buy my style again, 99-01 is not my cup of tea, i feel my style was built a little better, yours howeevr is way more refined....but hey to each his own, i love all cobras, and now thinking about it once again, i actually would buy one of your body style, lol let me rephrase, if i had a lot of money, i would have one from 93-10 ahahahaha

You didn't answer my question. You made a statement that 96's had bugs to work out so a 97/98 is a better buy. If your going to make a statement like that back it up with some facts or don't make comments. People will read this later and think there is something wrong with the 96 when in fact there is nothing

You didn't offended me. To be honest these cars are old enough to have all bugs worked out of them. All I was trying to get at was if your going to say one year is better please state why you believe your opinion. No big deal really
And my car has just as many Cobra parts on it as your Cobra if not more so I'm missing a little piece off paper from Ford/SVT I guess that does make you better than me. And no I'm not claiming my car is a Cobra
