I have a 97 cobra with a V-1 vortech sc. just recently the engine started losing power and shutting off. the oil pressure will drop to zero. but here is where it really has me, the oil pressure gage will bounce around and then even out at normal but when it does the engine starts a slight knock on the passenger side, then it will drop back to zero and knocking will stop. from everything i know it seems that it should be the other way around...please help

sounds like your oil pump **** the bed....that knock is not good, bottom end???

mine usto knock like that when i start it cold, got worse after a while then suddenly a piston rod broke lol. had a spun rod bearing, have it checkd out asap man
