ok 99 cobra procharger 6 speed 410 rearend car got pretty warm one night on way to town cooled down and was fine figured thermo was sticky and took while to open so replaced thermo now car does fine at idle but when u get on highway car gets hotter than norm get close to red but not in it if u trurn heater on motor cools down and runs norm as soon as u get off highway it goes to norm put in garage tuned on ac car never got past norm
also hose on whet would b top side of thermo stays cool can tuch and hold hand on it on botom of thermo watch out hot could i have got bad thermo could new one be stuck shut im also sure i got all air out messed with for 2 hours atleast pour 50/50 mix in cross over tubes and all so dont think its air

you could take out your thermo and test it to see if it works then go from there. sucks that u will be flushing a lot of coolant around too. good luck

ok found prob got a bad thermo boght new one from ford and no problems car runs fine thanks guys just thoght i would tell u what fixed it never see that from anyone
