does sound very sick, parts list? labor costs? just hearing that at the light would deter just about anyone from wanting to run with you im sure.

That's pretty much what mine sounds like.

Were the cams degreed? Or just installed using the factory timing procedure? Did you do it?

Oh, wow, that sucks. You're missing out on 20-30 hp while not degreeing them. The stock cam sprockets are anywhere from 0-6 degrees off. You should have gotten adjustable cam gears and degreed them. Especially if you were paying a shop to do it. They should have had the tools/abilities to do it.

And why not say how much you paid? Just curious.

I do have adjustable cam gears... Maybe they are degreed? I don't know, and I really don't care. The car is going to make stupid power as it is...

And as far as labor goes, I paid nothing... I removed the engine myself, had the machine shop build and assemble the bottom end. My shop then put the motor back together, and I was suppose to put it back in the car. Well I was too busy with school at the time, so they just put it back in for me, for free...
