99 MUSTANG COBRA EXHAUST SETUP
#11
I think stingers on a car with cats sound awesome but for offroad midpipes i like more of a muffler type setup, raspy exhaust is annoying. I dont think the sra pipeing will make much of a difference. I used to have slp lm1s though and even with a catted x they were raspy b/c they were hollow.

No the sound should stay the same. Same motor, same mufflers and same piping, unless you have cams or something.

Catback- This is all up to you and what sound you prefer. Cobras sound better and also put out more power numbers if you have a straight thru muffler such as Bassani, Magnaflow, Steeda, and Borla. I have seen dyno sheets and chambered mufflers will not net you much power and Mac and Flowmaster are chambered. Plus they don't sound that good on a 4v, leave Mac and Flowmaster to the 2v and 5.0 guys.

i agree with mustang3 the cackle becomes to much...but if your talking about keeping cats then that a whole new thing because of how much they change the sound...the super 44's are def better then the LM 1's...
with your cams a straight through style like mustang3 first mentioned would give the best sound for those cams
