Angry Insurance!

Holy cow I just picked up my 99 Cobra and before I bought the insurance I did a quote with progressive, which stated 138 a month. Then after I typed the vin of my cobra in it shot up to 205/month!! OUCH Im gonna have to start workin two jobs for my Cobra ; D.

Thats a fact jack, just a bummer that progressive advertises a cheap rate for cobras then when you type a specific vin in it sky rockets.

Try AAA.They had the best rate around by 68.00 a month.

How old are you?? ...I have BOTH Cobra's insured through Barrett-Jackson for $363 a year...agreed value of $30K each!!

...You must be 26 or older to qualify for this & have a DD, garage...

Are you held to a mileage limit per year?

Jeff....Yes....2,500 per year (honor system), they never asked for my mileage! ....Other speciality insurance companies like Grundy allow more mileage/unlimited, but more $$$$

....and you CAN take to work or anywhere that you would go with a DD...they just discourage doing this everyday!

Also, Barrett-Jackson, $0 deductible, Full coverage of TOW (and ALL fees associated in getting the car repaired), Only OEM Parts & Full Glass.....But I really like the Guaranteed Price $$$$ of the car with this insurance!!!

I will check into this, I pay around 550.00 yr now. I'll see if I get get more miles for extra $$$.

Unless you already know they don't?
