Default I'm a happy camper / saved around $500 on my insurance

I took my cobra off my Geico policy and took out coverage with Hagerty. My Geico coverage for the cobra alone was $541 every 6 months and now with Hagerty its $639 FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR! I had to pay for the year up front but its worth it. The best part is i got to name the amount my cobra is covered for so in the event its totalled i get that amount, not the blue book value. I ensured it for $25,000 and i have no mileage limits and can choose the body shop of my choice for any repairs, oh, and $0 deductible. Geico deductible was $250.

Nice deal!!! ...I did the same with Barrett-Jackson with Both Cobra's last fall!! ...I ensured each Cobra for $30k and have all the same as the ^^^ Except the mileage, I'm limited to 2,500 per year (no big deal for me...)...Cost $363 a year for BOTH!

O.P how old are you?

Tim i know you're old (no offense but your daughter is about my age haha.)
I used to be right around 750/6 months for full coverage, which isn't horrible for being as young as i am (was like that from 16-18) for 96 through allstate. Not horrible but i have 0 tickets so im hoping i can find something cheaper this summer.

FYI: Always buy/select NO LESS then a $500.00 deductable as you'll never want to claim anything that small....anything lower just giving the insurance $$$ IMO!
