Question: On a cold start, my 2003 Cobra makes crazy pulley cricket noises. FIX???

I just bought a 2003 Cobra, it has the 3.1 pulley. I've been doing research, and people say that a new belt should do the trick. I've inspected the belt and it does look a little worn.

What do you guys think?

New belt. Or check your idlers. May even be the oil level. These cars are prone to valvetrain noise with low oil or different weights.

Mine does the same thing and then goes away after it warms up.

mine does too and it goes away when it warms up, but it's annoying, still want to get it fixed

New Gates belt fixed it for me.
