Default Going to look at Cobra today

Ever since getting the GT I have been hooked. I love the car, but have been looking at Cobras. Found one at a local dealer for 19,800. 2004 with 26,000 miles, black on black. Not sure of the condition so I thought I would go check it out. My GT is paid off, but I have put about $2500 into since I got it. $1000 went to paint and body work since it sat out in the AZ sun for 6 years. The rest to gears, tuner, exhaust work and new tires. The car has been a blast, but a Cobra would be even better.

What do I need to look for if I go check this car out? Not real familiar with the Cobras.

When you go you just want to look at the overall condition of the car. Make sure it has not been beat to hell and ask what mods have been done to the car. You also want to make sure the car does not have the head tick because if it does you want to stay far away from it. If you plan on trading in your car take the mods off of it and sell them because they will not add to the value of the car. I know you are in a different area then me but I just got my 04 cobra and i paid 19.5k out the door. I got 5,600$ on the trade for my car and it was in ok shape. Hope this helps you.

The head cooling mod helps prevent the problem. I installed it on my car and install wasn't to bad at all.

Head Cooling Mod:

Well I drove down to the dealership and it was closed. They had the car in another fenced off lot so I could not get a close look at it. From what I coudl see it seemed like it was in good shape, but who knows. Going back tomorrow for a closer look.

Is this head tick thing something that will happen or might happen?
