H&R Race Spring Question...
As you ALL know, last October I purchased our '04 TR RagTop that had just had H&R Race Springs installed by the previous owner in September...This is my question, this past weekend when doing some detailing I noticed that the REAR spring appeared to be upside down (the tight end being against the control arm & not the body)...Is this correct or do I need to rotate the spring 180 deg??
If so, will it have hurt the spring to have been in there the wrong way for these past 10 months?!
Cell phone pic...Thanks for your help...Tim

I have mine going the other way. Not sure what it will hurt
the only reason I put mine in the other way is because the way they are in your car the H&R logo are upside down and the way I have it you can read the logo. That was my logic on how I put them in

...Just got off the phone with H&R!! ...Since the "Race" spring is a Compression Spring only, it really doesn't matter which way the spring is in there! However, the way it is currently is upside down, tech said it was OK! Also, you should be able to read the writing on the spring!!
So, before I get anonther alignment in the future, I swap the springs around at that time!
