I've been having serious thoughts of trying to get into a New Edge GT or a 01 Bullitt/Mach 1 or Cobra. I came across this 01 Cobra, which is a little more than what I would like to spend, but wanted some thoughts. I would trade in my car and in and order to get this Cobra, so I'd need some cash on my end. Opinions on the price? Or anything in general?

for that price you can almost find a 03 cobra with similar miles. Car looks good and all, but i paid 18,000 for my stock 03 cobra with 40,000 miles, im sure if you looked hard you can find some much better deals (took me almost 3 months to find what i wanted)

The problem around this area is that there is such a premium on cars compared to other areas. For example, 04 bone stock GT with 72,XXX for $14,500. And that's not the only one like that. I have get to see a S197 GT with less than 90k for under $15,000.

I think I'm going to check it out, and see how negotiable they are. I'd love to get them down in the $12k's but we shall see. Can't hurt to look or try

Yeah and with 72,XXXmi. I could maybe understand if it was <5,000mi but that just goes to show some of the ridiculous prices around here.

So drive 4 hours south and save thousands of dollars, im ~4 hours from you and a GT like that would sell for MAYBE 10k around here assuming it was MINT, probably closer to 8.

I see machs for 12-14 around here a good bit and like i said im maybe 4 hours south from you. Make the drive and save a few grand.
