Kb 2.2 vs mach 1 8.8
kb 2.2 won, dumped the clutch at 2,000 rpm at the track, tires grabbed and the rear end is completely locked up, it rolls backwards a little bit but forwards is a no go. havent had time to inspect the damage yet but im prepared to upgrade so its dime to decide what route to go, detroit locker vs eaton posi, vs auburn gear limited slip..i drive it on the street more then i do at the track so im thinking either the eaton or the auburn rather then a locker. just want to make sure they can hold the power before i put them in, im looking to run 31 spline axles c-clip elims and hopefully run slicks in the next year or two

i bought the car with the 8.8 in it so i didnt have that option..the damage that was done is i twisted the driver side axle shaft at the splines and broke it, decided against the c-clip elims for now since it is mostly a street car. i'm going to run the eaton posi carrier with 31 spline axles. i believe that they traded the mach1 diff for the complete IRS if i remember the previous owner telling me.
