Thanks for all the help guys and I'm glad you like my new ride. I'm just gonna add some small things to make it go a little faster right now, I'm not looking to do anything big unless I really start getting into racing or start losing a lot on the street.

car looks good! you sure thats the stock catback? my stocker's tips didn't look like that.

stockers

the tips are tiny and have a pipe within a pipe type of deal. normal acceleration sounds like a stock ford explorer. it was horrible and SUPER quiet.

btw...the car also looks lowered with either a spacer or 10" wheel out back. here was mine rocking the stock 4x4 ride height.

close to stock yes, 100% stock no but im pretty pickey.

it got trained pretty well when looking for my car. i don't buy anything unless it is literally 100% stock. i mean a catback only would be ok, but thats about it.

The car is a little lowered and all the tires are 17's but the rears are bigger, they're either 10 or 10.5 inches wide. The exhaust sounds stock, I have driven cobras before and been around a few a lot through out the years but it has a good rumble right now but it doesn't seem to sound like an aftermarket exhaust.

Everyone of you on here are slackin'. The man just picked up a STOCK Cobra and not a one of you has recommended to him and MGW shifter. Not good. :P

Congratulations on your purchase, as I am sure you have found out thus far, these things are FUN. I would hands down say one of your first mods should be an MGW short shifter, best thing out for these cars. Check their website at www.mgwltd.com

I prefer Borla stingers with a catted magnaflow x-pipe to keep things legal. JLT makes a nice carbon fiber cold air intake that stays cool and drastically lessens the chance of heat soaking on your intake tube.

These are well complimented by small visual add ons, cobra letters for rear bumper, sequential taillight mods, shorter antenna, etc. The list can go on and on.
