Default 03 SVT Cobra need 2 newtires 315/30/18 help?

Hey how is everyone.. its time for two new rear tires. i got 550 to wheel. whats the best tire for, 315/30/18 ? or what u guys r running ? my last was BF Goodrich G-Force T/A Drag Radial Tire P315/30R18 Light Load Tread Pattern.. they wore quickly with aggressive driving on regular roads..dry roads they gripped well.. does anyone use mickey Thompson or any others.. should i drag all the time or ? its an everyday driver as well. o and whats the best web site for tires?

I would HIGHLY recommend the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials!

MFJ is right those are great tires only down side to them is you gotta heat them sometimes and there not the greatest for the rain...the tires i run nitto nt555 drag radials...i rarely hit the track so mine is just a weekend warrior and those tires last and stick great but the et streets do stick better if you heat them

also i have personally found that discount tire has the best deal specially if you let them install it also cause then it will have a life time warranty they will fix any hole and if they cant they will buy you a new one

I hope I'm not stealing this thread but maybe my ? will help the OP

Why do people run DR on cars that never see track duty. My understanding is that the DR are wanted by people that don't want to change tires at the track can go into the water box heat them up and have a really sticky tire. I doubt very few people are heating there tires up on the road to take the benefit of using them for a DD. Wouldn't it make more sense to get a really good Summer only tire that way you get the great traction all the time and the wear longer than a DR.
Is my logic wrong?

i did alot of research on them talking to diff ppl bout them and it doesnt seem to be an better the nt555r's but there so new idk how much you can trust that yet...i say just go with what everyone knows is good no need to guess
