Can someone coach me through the transplant of a terminator in my 67 ?
I just bought an 04 terminator engine and trans and currently awaiting shipment. Big question is where should i start when it comes to mocking this thing up for installation ? What motor mounts have people used? Did you fab your own ? How do you know where to located everything. Should i stick the tranny in the tunnel making sure the shifter is in the right spot and then locate the engine from there ? I have no shock towers as i am running the Heidts mustang II rack up front so it should fit fine that way. Can the alternator be relocated on these engines? I have seen where this could be a problem with the driver's side frame rail. Your help and trial and error expertise is greatly appreciated !!! Would i use small block or big block springs up front on the A-Arms with this motor in there? Anyone who has done this transplant or if you know someone who has that i can speak to first hand would be great. I need a mentor who has already gone through the headaches as i am sure there will be plenty !!!

Wow, sounds like you have a lot of work ahead but it's gonna be very nice when you get done. I wish I could help you with it but we definately are looking forward to updates! Can you post some pics of both your car and the motor and trans?
Another thing you will want to find is a local shop to help with a custom driveshaft. I don't think any previous models will work.
