The "head tick" applies to motors built before 11/1/2002, you can check the build date of the motor on the left head, there should be a label near the brake resevoir. These cars are no joke, please be careful. This is also a good read: http://stangshiftergaskets.com/2003_2004faqs.htm
Best of luck and I hope it works out for you!

i've bought three termies, and none of them gave me any problems, even after i beat the hell outta them!!! buy it if it starts right up, you drive it and it shifts fine, no check engine light on, and oil looks good, it'll be fine, its a COBRA!! just make sure to get the tuner with it if it has been tuned (sct, diablo, sniper..); good luck

Wow, so many responses you guys are awesome! I will definitely make a list of the things everyone said and will inspect the car like crazy. I will keep everyone posted on what happens. I'm going in the morning and can not wait!!! I feel like a little kid going to the toy store lol..

Looks nice but RED flags for me are: 2nd owner drove it for 7 mos and put 15,000 miles on it?!!!!! WOW that's a lot. I average about 4,000 a year (Illinois spring/summer 6 mos) so about 650 miles a month. Could have been his only car but still IT'S A LOT MILES in a short time. Maybe a lot of WHEEL SPINNING? CAR FAX says axels and differential were checked. WHY? AND WHY at a SUBARU DEALER and NOT A FORD! Possible noise or problems? Have a Certified Mech check it out before you BUY!
