hey guys i found a 99 cobra for sale by me wondering if it was a good deal and what things that I should be looking at on the car and if there are any common problems with the car. It is a 99 like i said with 85k on it and he is asking $7900. Here is an email that he sent me with the issues on the car. if your running a car fax it will show failed emissions , because of a code p0340 , I replaced the camshaft position sensor but I didn't reset the check engine light . I'll tell you all that's wrong so you don't waste your time :
Small dent by pass door , driver door could use new hinges ( or just realigned it slightly hits the little post )
When you turn right there's a little clicking sound from the rear not sure what that is . I feel the condition it's in is defiantly in-between good and fair I sent you a link for Kelly blue book.

i would show up in person with a good mechanic that you trust. Seems like he may be trying to down play some problems if yo ask me. Have your mechanic look over the entire car and drive it, any decent mechanic will be able to hear something wrong, look at it and tell you if its worth your time to buy the car. Tellig you to not waist your time to check a carfax would alarm me right off, then the clicking would be strike 2 as they can be pretty expensive to replace depending on whats wrong. Just my opinion anyways its impossible for us to tell you if its a good price as even the owner doesnt know whats wrong with it is seems.

Like they said above. Look it over with a good mechanic. Sounds like it may have been in an accident, Door doesn't close.
