Default Ques about parts for blown 4 valve

I found a sweet buy at a car dealer today, it's a 97 cobra with a Paxton charger and 3.80 gears. I don't know what else it has yet, and honestly I kno **** about 4 valve motors. My dad keeps telling me that even if the motor was stock that it could handle the supercharger. I'm scared that if I run it too hard I might blow somthing apart. I'm honestly not too wooried about that, I just want to know the best parts to get for it.I tried looking up parts for the car but I can't find much. I'd prolly replace the power coils and plugs and prolly add an intercooler for the charger. It looks like the car has 450 hp anyway, but I still want work on it because I feel that working on it would make it a more personal vehicle. I just don't know wat to do with a 4 valve! HELP!

ya its pretty close to maxed out on power for those internals...an intercooler would help you run more boost and cooler boost which could add some more hp which i wouldnt add much much i would just do it to keep it cooler!! if you get it i would take it straight to a dyno tuner and have him look at it and what its really doing with a/f and timing and such...retune it if need be or leave it as it is....as long as the car runs great no oil or water in exhaust as well as burnt oil on dipstick and filler cap you should be good...you can check under the rear end for tire shreds to see if its been thrashed on at all...its no diff then buying a 2v motor just look very carefully for signs of abuse and such...

if it has a boost gauge a/f and fuel pressure i would watch those while gettin on it to make sure its not leaning out and that boost doesnt drop outta nowhere as well as maintaining fuel pressure
