i would go with a cobra man preferably 03 04 cause thats basically what we all work towards i started with a v6 then 01 cobra now my 04...whatever you buy itll be fun there just totally diff cars to drive from a chevy

Give the Mustang a shot if you can. I am not brand loyal, but I can tell you that after all the vehicles I have owned in the 30 years I have been driving that my GT is by far the most enjoyable car I have owned. Yes it is not as fast as a Camaro in stock form ( at least the GT) but after some upgrades it will be very fun to drive.

thanks for the info guys.. so according to 3.0taurass, the cobras were made only 99, 01, 03, and 04?
yeah I'm not done with Chevy, but I'm just trying out fords now because I want to try something new after owning 4 f-bodies (3 z28s and 1 v6).
It seems like quite a few of mustang owners switch over to camaros because on the forum I am (LS1tech.com), they says they changed because the LS1 camaros have a lot more power.. I cant say mustangs arent powerful because I have never driven one.. but its pretty much settled that in the stock for stock form, a mustang gt will lose to a camaro z28.. and if you guys dont want to admit that, then thats up to... but i'm not gonna lie, you guys made one heck of a mustang gt AND the v6 for 2011!

Anyways, I am looking at a 2003 Cobra right now with 100k miles. What do you think is an ideal price to buy it at? I like the look of it. You said they make close to 400hp, right?

and what is the difference between the saleen mustang and the 03 04 cobra? arent they both supercharged?
