Trading my 06 gt on an 03 cobra. Questions
Heys guys
I have an 06 gt with 28k miles on it, and i have had it for 2 years. I love my car and it runs great, but i have always wanted an 03/04 cobra, and its time to make the switch. I found and I am set on an 03 silver cobra vert. All stock (which is what im looking for) except a jlt ram intake, flowmasters, tint, and the convertible light bar. I just have a few questions and want some info about the car. The car is in mint condition, and i wouldnt buy anything less, except it has 53k miles on it. Is this to many miles on the motor to buy and start modding (may be a stupid question, because ive heard these 4v engines are incredible.) I just plan to put the car around that 500 hp number, i will probably get an upper pulley (leaning towards the 2.81), o/r mid pipe, throttle body, and a good dyno tune for now. Could this amount of miles on the motor hold up with a kenne bell if i plan to throw one on there in the future? This will be the highest mileage car ive ever bought minus my daily beaters. Like i said im coming from a gt and im trying to learn as much as possible about the cobras. I love this car, but i just want to be dead set on it, and learn the info before i buy it. Any input would be greatly appriciated, facts about the car, experience with these motors, opinions regarding mods or anything about the car.
Thanks guys
